| DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY 7TH Squadron, 6th (US) Cavalry Regiment 4724 South Parkway Drive Conroe, Texas 77303-4355 April 30, 2008 Office of the Commander RE/MAX in care of Betty Ruby 2520 Research Forest Dr. The Woodlands, TX Dear RE/MAX Employees, The Soldiers of 7th Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment would like to thank all employees of the Woodlands & Spring RE/MAX offices for the very generous donation of $,5800 in gift certificates last holiday season. This is the second year in a row that you have directly affected the lives of our Soldiers in an extremely generous way. Once again you have shown an appreciation of the Soldiers that are ready to deploy anywhere and defend this great nation from all of our enemies. It always makes our Soldiers proud when the local community indicates that they are behind us and care about how they are doing. It is this kind of support that makes Soldiers want to stay in the uniform and continue to serve the United States of America. The gift certificates were distributed between 7-6th Cavalry Troopers which included single parent families. Soldiers that have experienced severe financial hardship and have suffered significant loss. All recipients were carefully selected from throughout the Squadron by a panel of our senior leadership. Some of the gift cards allowed the Soldiers to have an opportunity to buy specials gifts for their children, kept food in the pantry, or allowed them to rebuild their lives. All of the Soldiers found it very difficult to express their gratitude in words as they were overcome with feelings of humbleness and were overwhelmed by the generosity of RE/MAX. Once again, thank you for supporting your local Army Reserve Unit, the 7th Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, “Fast Guns!” We are in your debt forever. Sincerely, ANDREW D.
