What happens when I sell my home and become a RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring Client?

  1. Listing your home for sale: – Your Agent will prepare the pertinent information about the home (room sizes, price, personal property, special features, taxes, mortgage information, lot size and location, etc.) for marketing purposes.

  2. Sign – A RE/MAX sign with the Agent’s name and contact number will be promptly placed on your property.  The Agent will market your home in a number of ways, but that RE/MAX sign is a proven winner in attracting buyers.  When calls are received, any Agent in our office will be able to talk knowledgeably about your home.

  3. Multiple Listing Service: MLS. In addition to notifying all area RE/MAX agents about the listing, your Agent will advise the MLS of the availability of your home, and encourage cooperating brokers to show your home.

  4. Photographs – Your Agent will arrange for photographs to be taken of the exterior of the home right away for placement in the MLS system.  Additionally, they will arrange to take photos of the interior of the home for both the listing sheet, and display advertising.  For the best pictures, try to keep the garage door closed, and the yard neat.

  5. Tour Day – On a certain day, with advance notice to you, your Agent will arrange a tour by Realtor offices.  This is a great opportunity to have other agents tour your home, keeping it in mind for certain buyers with whom they may be working.

  6. Showings – Both agents with the RE/MAX offices, and cooperating brokers (agent from “other” agencies) will want to show your home.  Your Agent will arrange with a showing service to set up those showings.  The appointment will be made in advance, with as much notice as possible, so that you will have an approximate showing time.

  7. Following up on Showings – Your agent will make a follow-up contact with the Showing Agent – this is called “Feedback”, wherein your agent will ask the other individual how the showing went, did their buyers have any comments or questions, and so forth.  Your RE/MAX agent will then visit with you about that feedback.

  8. Promoting Your Home – Clients of RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring enjoy a wide spectrum of full media classified and display advertising opportunities, in which homes in your price range are continually advertised.  Additionally, your individual RE/MAX agent may have their own marketing plan in which your home will participate.
